Welcome to St. Francis Online, the internet home of St. Francis Bookshop, an actual "brick and mortar" Catholic book store located in Cincinnati, Ohio. Founded in 1950 by the Franciscan Friars of the Province of St. John the Baptist, St. Francis Bookshop has a long history of service to book lovers around the globe. This website was established to continue that tradition by offering internet shoppers the same unique selection of Catholic books and religious articles with the same personalized service that our in-store customers have come to know and expect over the years.

Our website, launched in November 2001, features a wide selection from the thousands of books and Catholic gift items we carry in our store, and more are being added every week. Please bookmark the site and check back often.

We are very excited to announce our arrangement with the American Franciscan Liturgical Commission to become the sole U.S. distributor for the Roman-Franciscan liturgical books such as the four-volume Roman-Franciscan Liturgy of the Hours, the one-volume Roman-Franciscan Christian Prayer, and all the respective supplements, vinyl covers and annual guides. We are now open for business at our new location at 8621 Winton Road. We have closed our downtown Cincinnati location at 1618 Vine Street.

Our current store hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. EST Monday through Saturday. These hours may expand or change based on the needs and shopping habits of our customers.

Our new store is located at 8621 Winton Road, just north of Galbraith Road.

Winton Road stretches south to Spring Grove Avenue, and north beyond the 275 loop.

Using the highway system, our store is easily accessible from the Ronald Reagan (Cross County) Highway (Rt. 126).

From I-75 or I-71, take Ronald Reagan Hwy. west to the Galbraith/Winton exit. Turn left off the exit onto Galbraith Rd. Take Galbraith to Winton Rd. Turn right on Winton Rd. St. Francis Bookshop is just past the Brentwood Plaza shopping center on the left. We share a small strip shopping center with Jack Herb Florist and Savage Auto Supply.
