system to order items directly from the website using
your credit card. Our site is guaranteed 100% secure
for the transmission of your credit card and personal information.

You
can also order online and pay by check. Simply choose
that option at checkout time, and we will hold your items
at St. Francis Bookshop until we receive your check by mail.
If you wish to pay by check
or money order and also to place your order by mail,
use our printable order form.

There
are two types of accounts that come into play when ordering
from our website. The first
is the online account you can set up on the site itself.
This option is helpful if you plan on ordering from us again
in the future, and exists solely so that you don't have to re-enter
all your payment and address information every time you order.
Setting up an online account is not required in order to place
an order on our site.
The second type of account is
applicable if you are one of the hundreds of existing in-house
charge account customers at St. Francis Bookshop in Cincinnati,
Ohio.
To order online using your
existing in-house account, simply
put your name and the pre-existing account name in the
appropriate blanks under "Bill To". Select the Pay
By Check option and enter any random number in the
"Check number" field (the number doesn't matter since
you're not really using a check). When we receive your
order, we will adjust the totals to reflect your normal
discount structure, non-taxable status, etc. Rest assured
that no orders go through final processing until after they have
been reviewed by the staff at St. Francis Bookshop.

Please
understand that our website is not complex enough to program
into it all the literally dozens of possible combinations of
different discount structures, taxable and non-taxable statuses,
etc., that we can offer through the actual bookstore. We cannot
program it, for example, to be set up for a local Cincinnati
order to be ordered on the website, charged to an existing in-house
account and then picked up in person at the store. However, if
one keeps in mind that, again, no order is billed or processed
until it has been reviewed by our staff, it does open up
some options. If you have special instructions for your order
(picking it up at the store, for example, or having it charged
to an existing in-store charge account), simply alert us to this
by writing a note in one of the unrequired address data fields
(write "will pick up" in the "company" field,
for example) when you are checking out. Even though your initial
confirmation will show shipping charges, the totals will be adjusted
to remove those charges before the order is processed.
Still not clear? Then please call manager Mark Utley at
the store (513-241-7304 or 800-241-6392) during business hours
(10 a.m. to 6 p.m. EST Monday through Saturday) and he will be happy
to walk you through the sale. We are confident that once you
see how your individual billing or shipping request needs to
be entered properly, future orders will be much easier to navigate.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS
We ship orders almost anywhere
in the world (except Nigeria, due to several unsuccessful fraud
attempts originating in that country). However, our website is
set up to calculate domestic U.S. shipping rates only. To place
an international order, simply place your order online using
the applicable country code, and when we receive your order,
we will weigh the items and email you with the revised shipping
rates to your country. We will not process the order until we
have received confirmation that the revised shipping rate is
acceptable to you.
