We regret to announce that, after almost 60 years of service, St. Francis Bookshop will be closing its doors forever on Saturday, July 18, 2009. Due to the current economic situation, the Friars no longer feel that the Bookshop is a financially viable ministry.

Our website will cease operations as of June 15, 2009, although it will remain online as an information-only site (at least temporarily) to assist our customers in locating alternative sources for some of the items we carry. When we know who will be carrying the 2010 Roman-Franciscan Liturgy of the Hours Guides and other related material, we will post that information on this page.

All pending orders placed on this website are still being processed. We are experiencing some delays due to the current situation, but the orders are being filled. We are sorry for any inconvenience these disruptions may cause.

The staff of St. Francis Bookshop would like to thank you for your patronage, your loyalty and your understanding, and ask for your prayers in these uncertain economic times. This is a very difficult time for all of us.
